How a turn works
  1. Must plant, may plant. Plant the first card of your hand into a field. You may plant the next one too.
  2. Turn up two. Two cards from the deck go into the market.
  3. Trade. Offer market cards or any cards from your hand, in any order. Only the active player trades: other players can't trade with each other, but anyone can trade with the active player. Cards you receive can't be traded again, and gifts must be accepted.
  4. Plant trades. Everyone plants every card they received. The active player also plants whatever is left in the market.
  5. Draw three to the back of your hand.
A field holds one bean type. To plant a different type you have to harvest it first. The numbers on each card show how many beans earn 1, 2, 3 or 4 coins. Everyone has two fields, or three in a 3-player game. You can harvest at any time, even on someone else's turn, but not a field holding a single bean while another field has more. When the last card is drawn, the discards are reshuffled into a new deck. When the deck runs out for the third time the game ends: if that happens while turning cards up, the turn finishes trading and planting first. Every field is then harvested, and cards in hand don't count. Most coins wins; ties go to the player seated furthest from the starting player.
